Flash Designer
Seeking mid-level to advanced Flash
designer (1 year commercial Flash experience minimum). Freelance, part time
and full time work is possible. Advanced ActionScript programming
capabilities a plus.
Job Description
Job will include Flash multimedia design for web
animations, CD-ROM and potentially rich media applications.
Typical Tasks
- Story boarding
- Multimedia graphics design
- Animation
- Audio production
- Video editing & compression
- Basic to intermediate ActionScript programming
Job Skills
Self-taught designers who have achieved a high level of
design and those with multimedia related degrees welcome.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Macromedia Flash (1+ year minimum
of commercial level Flash design)
- Proficient in vector graphics (Adobe
Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand)
- Intermediate or higher raster graphics (Adobe
Photoshop)
- Ability to accurately translate business
requirements into marketing oriented multimedia design
- Strong oral communication skills / ability to
communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
- Ability to collaborate with a team or work
autonomously
- Thoroughness and highly detail minded
Bonus Skills:
- Advanced ActionScript programming
- 3-D design
- Server-Side programming (PHP, ASP, Java,
ColdFusion)
- HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Broadcast video
- Photography
