Production Manager / Traffic Manager

The Production Manager is in charge of managing all creative and technical production team members. The position works closely with account managers and project managers to schedule production team resources.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with project mangers and production teams to intelligently schedule resources
  • Conducting weekly traffic meetings involving personnel from all relevant departments
  • Direct management of production staff
  • Maintaining overall team productivity and quality
  • Refining production processes and standards
  • Identifying potential production issues and finding resolutions
  • Maintaining overall quality control
  • Reviewing proposals for feasibility

Skills

Individuals must have experience managing interactive projects, preferably in an agency environment. A minimum of 3 years in project management is a must, preferably in traffic or production management.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management or traffic management experience in a fast pace environment
  • Understanding of web and multimedia development process
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience
  • Highly self motivated and willingness to work as long as it takes to get the job done right
  • Ability to motivate others

Bonus:

  • Programming or related MIS experience
  • Graphic/Web design experience
  • Design/ad agency experience
  • IT consultancy experience
  • Understanding of web best practices
