SEO Specialist

Life Creative Group is seeking a hard working, detail oriented individual with strong data/information organization and writing skills to assist in link building campaigns, PPC/PPP search engine marketing and to help manage the L10s directory (www.l10s.com). While SEO experience is a plus it is not required. We will train the right individual.

Job Description

Responsibilities will fall into three major areas: link building, sponsored PPP search marketing and L10s directory editing.

Link Building

A key task for Life Creative Group's website marketing services is to generate links to our client's websites from other related websites. These links, also called backlinks or inbound links, act as ads directly generating traffic to client sites and also elevating our clients' sites in the search engines.

Typical Link Building Tasks:

  • Writing/optimizing online text ads
  • Submiting sites to online directories (e.g. DMOZ & Yahoo! Directory)
  • Review reciprocal link request for LevelTen clients
  • Registering sites for design awards
  • Online content networking

Sponsored PPP Search Management

PPP search advertising is the text ads that are listed under "sponsored" in major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. This position will setup and manage sponsored search engine marketing campaigns.

Typical PPP Search Management Tasks:

  • Write sponsored ads
  • Place ads and manage bid prices via online tools
  • Evaluate ad effectiveness via online statistics

L10s Directory Editor

L10s.com is a categorized directory of websites. We receive dozens of registrations each week that must be reviewed. This position would review websites to determine if and where the site should be placed in the directory.

Typical L10s Directory Tasks:

  • Review new site registrations for approval into the directory
  • Create/manage categories for different types of websites

Job Skills


No prior experience in link building is required. This position requires a novel set of technical skill, therefore Life Creative Group will provide job training.

Candidates should have the following skills:

  • Strong grammar and spelling
  • Aptitude for marketing oriented writing
  • Strong ability to organize and classify information/data
  • Thoroughness and highly detail minded
  • Solid oral communication skills / ability to communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
  • Solid word processing skills
  • At least a moderate level of familiarity with the Internet and online search engines

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience in website authoring/editing
  • Experience with PPP search campaigns
  • Library science background
  • Search engine optimization experience
  • Experience designing advanced Excel spreadsheets or database design
